SCHEDULE I-S 08 - IDLE SERVICE
SUN RIVER ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 15, 2008

TYPE OF SERVICE:

            For the purpose of cooperative business, an idle service shall be defined as any service line on which there has been no electrical usage for a period of one (1) year or more.

MONTHLY RATE:

            Base Rate:                 De-energized single phase @ $11.47
                                                De-energized three phase @ $18.34
                                                Energized single phase @ $25.22
                                                Energized three phase @ $27.52

            A de-energized line shall be defined as a line no longer connected to the primary distribution system by virtue of an opening in the primary circuit. At the discretion of the cooperative any transformers or meters on a de-energized line may be removed for use elsewhere on the system.

            An energized line shall be defined as a line connected to the primary distribution system and fully capable of being utilized by the consumer with only the installation of a meter loop and/or a meter. In order for a line to be considered energized, transformer capacity must be available.

LINE REMOVAL:

            If a consumer does not wish to pay the idle service charge, the cooperative reserves the right to remove the service at their convenience. Prior to the removal of any idle service, the cooperative will notify the land owner in writing of the cooperative's intention.

WAIVER OF SERVICE NOTICE:

            A Waiver of Service Notice will be mailed to the property owners for each idle service account.

REVOCATION OF AN IDLE SERVICE:

            If after signing a Waiver of Service Notice the consumer/member changes his or her mind prior to the removal of the line and/or service, the member may request the line be left in place. Such notice to the cooperative must be in writing and accompanied by a check or money order equal to the idle service charge from the date the waiver was signed.
